Hurray it’s 2021 a year of reflection and looking forward! Once again we find ourselves in the conundrum of being in a family lockdown. Organising your family schedule can prove to be difficult at times with multiple children, meetings, lunches and more. We want to take the frustration out of your day and offer an array of fun things to do with your children to reconnect.
Introducing Wunder Explorers where there is an adventure from the kitchen table to your child’s room. Let’s explore! Although many museums are closed there is a bevy of virtual tours and online activities for children of all ages.
Tate Museum
Tate Kids offers so much to do, children can create, explore or enjoy games and quizzes. From Impressionism to Pop Art, keeping your child engaged throughout the day just got easier.
The Met
Met Kids is for kids by kids! With an interactive map and a fun time machine, after you push the button don’t forget to click on the picture it offers fun facts, the location on the interactive map and a fun creative activity!
National Museum of Natural History
With their fun Family Program children can learn about nature, culture and science with the various programs of the museums At Home Series.
Google Arts and Culture
Explore every museum you could ever imagine, Science, Sport, Art and History. This site offers a plethora of things to do.
Boston Children Museum
From story time to music inspired by nature the Boston Children’s Museum has pages and pages of activities to keep your child engaged for hours.
San Francisco Museum of Modern Art
Enjoy The Country Dog and Gentlemen while the explore extraordinary artworks from around the world.
Monterey Bay Aquarium
Offering various animal cams, get inspired to do a fun interactive project with your little one after watching. Creating a Coral Reef or Jelly fish is a fun activity to start with!
Chicago Children’s Museum
Their Recipe for Play at Home offers fun crafts starting from age 0 and up! Perfect for toddler activities.

The At Home Art Class is a great start for your budding artist. A 45 minute online session where children are engaged and inspired by the collection at the Guggenheim. This is a paid event and the timing works best for families in North America.

The Virtual Family Adventure explores works of art in the Brooklyn Museum collection through fun games and activities. Each session is inspired by your home from Scavenger Hunts to Dream Spaces Dream Places your child will get creative and even relish being at home.
The Whitney
After School Art Club is a free weekly online program with Whitney educators. In the upcoming session children 5-10 will explore the art work of G Peter Jemison and create their own masterpieces based on the inspiration.
