The Best Advent Calendars of 2019

A Handpicked Selection for the moms, dads and kids in your life

Moms

Our favorite beauty site is offering the mother of all advent calendars, full of surprises from brands like Ouai, Dr. Barbara Sturm and Westman Atelier. I’ll say no more cause this would also be a super calendar to self-gift!

The British makeup maven offers a glittering box of 12 holiday surprises, including 3 full size products.

Don’t miss this one! It keeps selling out fast and for good reason. This calendar features 12 best-selling items from the British jewelry brand that’s a favorite of fashion icons everywhere. And it’s on my wish list (hint, hint).

Dads

I’m a big fan of gifting the men in my life advent calendars involving liquor, as I tend to benefit as well. This Danish beer brand is a favorite, featuring excellent brews and thoughtful design.

24 high quality gins are guaranteed to put a smile on the face of any dads you know. This will get even the most scroogiest of guys in the proper holiday spirit.

Again, I think it’s only proper that if you’re gifting an advent calendar you should reap some of the benefits. Featuring some of the brands best selling spa products, the calendar also boasts lovely illustrations and refillable drawers to be used for years to come.

Kids

So every year I look at Pinterest, prepared to make my own advent calendar, something so lovingly made that it will be used for years to come, eventually passed on to my grandchildren. But, alas, this never happens and I resort to Playmobil or something candy-filled. This year I bought this lovely little calendar from Meri Meri. No maddening arguments over candy for the 24 days leading up to Christmas, and with cute little figurines that will last at least a couple of years to come.

Having said that, who doesn’t love a chocolate advent calendar? And I’m simply in love with this one! 24 vegan and organic chocolates, 24 toys and a playmate. And it’s just so gosh darn cute.

I have a lot of 8 year old boys in my life at the moment and every single one of them has put Harry Potter legos on their Christmas wishlist. So if you know any kids in the 6-10 demographic, this is probably a pretty good bet.
